Leadership Team

Jennifer profJennifer Cullenbine - CEO and Founder

Co-founder of the Family Giving Tree, today Jennifer serves as Queen Elf and Chief Executive Officer. Jennifer earned her Masters degree in Business Administration from San Jose State University, where the very idea for the Family Giving Tree was born.  Jennifer is affiliated with many organizations, including the Entrepreneurs Organization, The Milpitas Chamber of Commerce, and the Rotary Club of Milpitas where she recently served as president. 


Al profAl Galan - Operations Director

Originally from Chicago, Al graduated with a B.S. in Math from Marquette University. Prior to moving to California, Al served in the U.S. Navy as a Surface Warfare Officer for 8 years in San Diego. He then earned his Masters degree in Organizational Development from UCSF prior to working for Integrated Device Technology and Intel as a Supply Chain planner and manager. 


Jess profJess Gutierrez - Chief Financial Officer

As he does for a number of other nonprofits, Jess currently acts as Family Giving Tree’s part-time CFO. With a B.S. from Santa Clara University and an MBA from Pepperdine University, Jess is an expert in small-to-medium-sized operations with added extensive work in the nonprofit sector. His specialization is in financial reporting, internal controls, business planning, financial systems, and organization development. 


Loper profLarry Loper - Marketing Communications Director 

After more than 20 years leading Brand and Communications for Silicon Valley firms, Larry joined the Family Giving Tree in 2016.  He earned his B.A. in English from UC Berkeley and M.S. in Journalism from the University of Oregon.  Larry's other nonprofit interests include an annual trip to build homes in Mexico and cooking and serving meals at the San Jose Family Shelter.

Jake Manaloor - Director of Development

As Development Director, Jake Manaloor leads FGT's fundraising efforts, vital to fulfilling our Back-to-School Drive and Holiday Wish Drive missions. Jake comes to FGT from the Silicon Valley Community Foundation. Prior to his time in Silicon Valley, Jake worked in non-profit and higher education. His focus areas included grant management and administration, as well as donor/alumni development. Jake earned his degree in Business Administration from the Indiana University Kelley School of Business. He is also a graduate of the Indiana University McKinney School of Law.

Jeanne profJeanne Clabaugh - Relationship Director

Jeanne began volunteering in high school by teaching English to migrant workers. She received a B.A. in Sociology from UC Santa Barbara and completed her postgraduate work in Social Service at Santa Clara University. In addition, she has completed advanced courses through Indiana University School of Philanthropy. Jeanne is a member of the Association of Fundraising Professionals and has served as a mentor to several local non-profits.
