The San Francisco Bay Area:
On the surface is Silicon Valley’s wealth and opportunity glows but in reality, it has one of the highest poverty rates in the nation affecting 608,000 households. Family Giving Tree helps families who live in this deep shadow of success clear financial hurdles through our Back-to-School and Holiday Wish Drives.
By partnering with hundreds of agencies, we aim to support students every school year and children, adults, and seniors during the Holiday Season.
Back to School Drive
Level the educational playing field for Bay Area students whose families face financial hardship through gifts of backpacks and essential, grade-appropriate school supplies.
Holiday Wish Drive
Give joy by providing the exact Holiday wish of a child, adult, or senior in need. It may not seem like much, but for someone who may not otherwise receive a gift, it’s everything.

We partner with over 250 agencies each Drive to make sure we can serve as many communities that might feel neglected here in the Bay Area.
