What is Seeds of Joy?
Seeds of Joy is a hands-on giving opportunity created by Family Giving Tree that invites individuals, families, and organizations to uplift Bay Area students facing financial challenges. By funding and assembling backpacks filled with essential school supplies, you’re not just giving a bag of items—you’re giving a child the confidence to walk into the classroom ready to learn!
How It Works
1. Place Your Order: Choose your grade level and how many backpack kits you’d like to assemble (between 50 and 200, in increments of 50). Pricing includes delivery/pickup to and from your location.
2. Receive Your Kits: Kits arrive within three weeks, delivered directly to your address. Each kit includes all necessary supplies and easy-to-follow instructions—no guesswork, just impact!
3. Assemble and Return: With care and intention, assemble the backpacks and have them ready for pickup within 30 days. We will schedule convenient drop-off and pickup dates/times in advance of your event.
Why It Matters
Too many Bay Area students begin the school year without the basic supplies they need to succeed. The lack of a backpack or essential tools doesn’t just limit learning—it undermines confidence, a sense of belonging, and the belief that their future matters.
