Back-to-School Drive
August can be a stressful month for struggling families...
In the Bay Area, many families face a hefty price tag just to equip their kids for school, ranging from $85 for the little ones to $100+ for the high schoolers. We created the Back-to-School Drive to try and ease some of that tension.
Since its launch back in 1995, this drive has been on a mission to bridge the educational gap for K-12 students. And over the years, we've proudly supported over 500,000 students. But that's just the beginning!

Holiday Wish Drive
In 1990, Family Giving Tree was founded on the belief that every child deserved to feel some holiday cheer. Alongside it came the first annual Holiday Wish Drive.
Thirty-four years later, we've served over 2 million recipients and have come a long way from that beloved garage in Palo Alto.
Imagine the delight on a child's face, the gratitude in an adult's heart, or the warmth in a senior's spirit when they receive the one special gift they've been dreaming of. It may seem like a small gesture, but for someone who might not have received a gift otherwise, it can mean the world.
