Peer-to-Peer Fundraising
What is Peer to Peer fundraising?
Peer-to-peer is a form of fundraising in which you, as an individual, host personal campaigns to collect donations from friends, family members, and colleagues on behalf of a nonprofit organization. These campaigns can raise money through activities like marathon training or events like birthdays, anniversaries, or reunions. Take a look at a sample fundraising page here.
Why would I want to start a peer-to-peer fundraiser for FGT?
It allows you to take your donation further and incorporate something you would already be doing, like celebrating a birthday or training for a run and adding something that uplifts the community. You can share information about a cause you care deeply about, have a larger impact through collective giving, and celebrate something in a meaningful way.
Is it difficult to start one?
